Great game, 'Tiki - quite the exciting finish!
As for our aspiring Hawk...
Ice Hawks 9 17 7 6 4 3 .920 1
Hot Mustard 11 15 9 3 7 2 .926 0
If we had matched up last week, we would have split every other stat, and I would have won the tie break on Goals. Looks like another great match-up is in the works - good luck to you!

Hmmm
Those damn Avs just won't have the decency to lose a game in regulation!! I had so hoped to be seeing the Flames with a 7 point margin but alas it was not to be.
Still 5 points out with 7 games to go means that any combination of Flames wins or Avs regulation losses equalling 5 or more will be enough for the Flames to advance. You don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

Meanwhile the East is just insane. AS a Montreal fan I just don't know for whom to cheer in a lot of the games like Islanders v. Rangers. Montreal is definitely in a bad way as they have one fewer game remaining than most of their competitors
But their schedule is such that their fate should be in their own hands
Tue Mar 27, 2007 HOME Rangers
Fri Mar 30, 2007 AWAY Senators
Sat Mar 31, 2007 HOME Sabres
April
Tue Apr 3, 2007 HOME Bruins
Thu Apr 5, 2007 AWAY Rangers
Sat Apr 7, 2007 AWAY Maple Leafs
Two games against the Ranges and a contest against the Leafs!! meanwhile each of the contenders has enough games against other contenders that someone has to not take a full 2 points ( and you really hate 3 point games at this time of year)
Take the Leafs
Tue Mar 27, 2007 HOME Hurricanes
Thu Mar 29, 2007 AWAY Thrashers
Sat Mar 31, 2007 HOME Penguins
April
Sun Apr 1, 2007 AWAY Rangers
Tue Apr 3, 2007 HOME Flyers
Thu Apr 5, 2007 AWAY Islanders
Sat Apr 7, 2007 HOME Canadiens
Five out of 7 for them will be against teams fighting for their playoff lives. I suspect that a lot will still be undetermined as late as the Habs and Leafs matchups with the New York teams on April 5You don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

Tonight is another huge night with playoff implications all over the place.
Four games involving teams fighting for a spot in the east while both the Avs and Flames have games in the west-- Huge night!!!You don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

Kipper's been unreal lately...
We just ended Minnie's 9 game winning streak with a game where both goalies got shutouts.
Then in the shootouts, Calgary was 2 for 2 and minnie 0 for 2. Kippperr!"The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

We just passed the ten year anniversary of Darren McCarty beating the ever-loving **** out of that rat bastard cheap shot artist Claude Lemieux, and Mike Vernon whooping Patrick Roy's ass.

But the Habs just need to keep on winning. There are stikll far too many teams in the hunt and almost all have them have one more game left than the HabsYou don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

In the West, everything went right for the Flames as well. A win plus a Colorado loss means that the gap is 7 points with 6 games to play. The magic number is now 3 so a 3-3 record the rest of the way confirms the Flames in the playoffs. Or the Flames can clinch by just winning two games as long as one of them is a regulation win over the Avs (they play twice).
My hope is that gthe Flames win at least one of their next two (OR the AVs lose one of their next two) so then the April 3 game I am attending could be a playoff spot clincherYou don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo
