Actually, they do have some hole to fill. With Jone gone, they need a back up running back. Who knows what's going to happen with the Briggs situation... And while positions are filled, we could use some serious upgrades in some of them.

The fact that all we have really done so far is subtract from the team... it would be nice to see some additions soon

I have to say, I'm surprised at the decision on Jones as relates to Benson. I think it's the right decision, but I wasn't expecting it.

Jerramy Stevens arrested for DUI and marijuana possession

It's never a good idea to get arrested, but Stevens is currently an unrestricted free agent and just torpedoed the value of his next contract. Stevens admittedly had "four or five margaritas," according to police. Considering his history of drinking problems, including another DUI, Stevens may stay on the market for a while now.

Word is the Titans signed Nick Harper.

The Colts have lost Rhodes and Harper now, and they might lose Cato June. Otherwise, nobody significant will be leaving via free agency.

Indy got off light for a Super Bowl team. Usually those teams get cannibalized the following offseason. I think people know full well that Indy's strength comes primarily from about six really good players, all of whom are on offense, and none of whom are available. Harper is solid, June is good in coverage, and Rhodes is able to offer consistent (albeit mediocre) production at halfback. Other than that, there's nobody on the market from Indy who's really useable.

Eagles Ink Curtis to Deal

Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the Philadelphia Eagles have signed unrestricted free-agent WR Kevin D. Curtis (Rams) to a six-year contract. John Murphy, of Yahoo! Sports, reports the six-year deal is worth $32 million, according to a league source. It includes a $7 million signing bonus and $9.5 million in guaranteed money.

Some of these contracts are just insane... Curtis isn't even a starter.
