  • It helps prove the BCS is a load of **** too!

At least Boise State will be able to afford the new "smurf turf".

    ACK!
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

How so? Seems the BCS did a good job of arranging a game between two evenly-matched teams...

            • And the fairy tale ending... Ian Johnson, scoring the winning TD, proposing to his cheerleader girlfriend, and getting the "yes". They should just sell the movie rights right now .

Which depended on the votes of coaches and computers to allow Boise State to play in their game.

So? Everyone else is subject to the voters and the computers, too. Go cry with the Michigan fans...

Oklahoma wasn't. All BCS conference champions aren't as dependent on the voters.

I'm not crying by the way, I'd rather have my non-BCS teams beating the BCS teams.

                    • That's only ~50% the spots available in the BCS. And most of those teams would have went anyway. Oklahoma would've been in the BCS even if the Big 12 champ didn't get an automatic berth...

                      • The BCS stays. The games today were about as good as it was going to get. And before Boise St gets cocky they ought to remember they're 1-5 against their last six ranked opponents.

Sure, because they are in one of the so-called "major" conferences.

Things are changing and the BCS is way behind the curve.

If Boise State was in the Big 12, they'd be playing OSU next week.

Hey they are on a one game winning streak against ranked opponents, what is Arkansas' current streak?

I don't think Boise State would've went undefeated in the Big 12, even as bad as it was this year.

They just beat your champ, that says something to me.
