I don't, and won't explain them. They are idiots, as is anyone who kills for their "cause". Killing is fundamentally wrong, under every religion, and under basic human decency. No matter what you believe in, it is not worth killing for, as long as we consider ourselves humans. We don't advocate the Inquisition or Saladin's armies any more. Religion, or anti-religion is no longer an excuse for murder in our 'civilised' world. This killing is just as wrong as the killings of doctors who perform abortions, and deserves vindication as such. Killing should not be celebrated, no matter who has been killed.

Martyrs we know are in heaven, and they are saints. It is not a light matter, but a great honour, as Christ would say, blessed are those who die in the name of the Lord!

As for his death, I would rather he not die, and continue preaching the Lord to all and die peacefully in his bed. I hope that whomever is responsibe is arrested, tried, imprisoned for the rest of his life, and then forgotten for all time. That is my hope.
