I don't think that outlawing abortion will work, because desperate people will always do desperate things. Since abortion specialists are perverse corruptions of medical doctors, the only thing that keeps them from cutting corners and killing desperate women is strict regulation.

No, you can't lose something you never had. But yes, that's only my opinion so you can ignore it.

As Dr. King said, the law cannot make the white man love me, but it can stop him from lynching me. The same is true of abortion. We cannot make a mother love and raise her own child, but we can stop children from being killed.

And so, would you have counselled the abolitionists, that because people were evil we ought not to restrain them? Banning slavery with the 14th amendment was a good thing despite the fact that Jim Crow laws were eventually passed. Even as the Crow laws permitted assault, the 14th amendment affirmed that the black man was a person, and that he could not have been owned by another man. I would take a freedom, even enduring discrimination to involuntary servitude.

So do I. People will get illegal abortions, people will kill each other, and they will commit crimes. It is human nature. The least we can do is have laws that restrain them from doing so.
