Can someone give me an educated answer here of when the federal government, when where and by who, was granted legal right to do things outside of its granted powers?

When has regulating immigration been outside of its granted powers?

If the state of Arizona actually believed that the government was following through with keeping the borders secure and getting illegals out then there would be no need for the state to have to push for laws to get them out. Is there a doubt in anyone's mind that the government is really trying to stop illegals from getting in the country? How many million are in the US now? How many are getting across the border every day? Seriously, do any of you really care that the government is NOT doing anything?

The federal government doesn't have to get illegals out or stop them from getting in. That's the whole point: the federal government gets to decide how it wants to deal with immigration. That you, or even the entire state of Arizona, dislike its decision doesn't make that decision unconstitutional.
