I dunno, every day at work I sit next to a compsci lawyer who spends all day gleaning evidence out of discovery responses and wouldn't touch IP with a ten-foot pole. Hell, just knowing how to use Excel worth a damn opens a lot of extra doors, compsci aside.

She's probably already written a machine learning algorithm which does all her work for her. She's just looking at porn 99% of the time.

You'd be shocked by how many experienced professionals can't fully utilize even the simplest programs that you and I could learn backwards and forwards as toddlers, while drunk, and/or in our sleep. Greatest thing about being American is the right to disagree, obviously. The legislation from Arizona is to c o n s i d e r illegal aliens as trespassers on state soil. Inside of the state already. No deporting. No extraditing. No playing the role of INS. Just detaining illegals as trespassers and treating them as such. They provide papers, oh hey look they aren't illegal, they go on their way. No papers, oh hey look this one is illegal, call the INS and hand them over.

Say you have someone on your property who isn't supposed to be there, you know they are there, but whenever you go outside they run and hide. You have authority to kick them off your property, to call the police, etc. Oh but wait, according to you only the government can handle trespassers. Why are defending illegals so much? They are not supposed to be here and any law that goes to send them packing is to maintain current laws in place.

Doing something illegal is against the law and thus you are wrong and should be punished for such. OK? We call them illegals because they are I L L E G A L, criminals. Let's stop calling them illegal and just call them alien criminals. I don't even just mean Mexicans, they just have the easy road in, I mean all of them; Indonesians, Filipinos, Chinese, Koreans, Africans, etc. Criminals. Except that they aren't "trespassing", their only crime is a violation of FEDERAL LAW over which the state does not have jurisdiction.

It's a law passed by Congress and the exclusive domain of Congress. If Congress sees fit not to actually have the law enforced, that's within its powers.

Arbitrarily rewriting the Constitution is not one of Congress's enumerated powers. Regulating immigration is.

The fact that illegal immigration is a crime is due entirely to laws passed by Congress. The fact that the Presidency is an elected office with a term of 4 years is due to the US Constitution. Congress can effectively ignore ITS OWN LAWS. It cannot choose to ignore the Constitution.

AZ doesn't get to tell Congress how to enforce laws which were passed BY CONGRESS and which conform to the US Constitution. Most especially, they don't get to start passing their own laws attempting to force Congress' hand in a matter in which the states HAVE NO COMPETENCE.

A state law which criminalizes the presence of an individual in the state as a whole based solely on his status with respect to a matter in which the state has no constitutional right to meddle is unconstitutional. That's so blatantly obvious to anybody with a functioning mind that we have reached a new level of ridiculousness here. At this point, your level of willful disregard for the Constitution as written and for basic reading comprehension makes it appear as though you may in fact be a cleverly disguised computer program which is attempting to mimic human conversation.
