They can rename all of the banderite references to honor inoffensive things instead and drop any language laws that call out Russian. The people on these lands had never asked for independence from their NATIVE LAND (Russia). They were forcibly and illegally given by Soviets to Ukraine first in 1920's (Novorossiya) and in 1954 (Crimea), then again in 1991.
Just try to understand a simple axiom:
"If USSR could be divided, so is Ukraine!".
If we give-up a single inch of Novorossiya, they will come there and slaughter native Russian population over there like they have already done at Donbass and Kursk region (and their officials don't even hide their plans).
