Oh I totally agree that is a possibility. I was more referring to the " Ukraine must be running out of ammo and/or bodies and Russia is gearing up to take more land." part of the post. In fact, with Wagner ending up in Belarus (if they get to take all of their equipment) I believe that the situation just got far more dangerous. Now that Wagner has been "disavowed", what happens if they attack supply depots in Poland (Politically I mean...obviously they would be utterly destroyed militarily)? Would NATO attack positions in Belarus? Would that give Putin plausible deniability? That devious f*cker has an evil and warped mind and does indeed live in a much stranger place than Berzworld. Could it be a precursor to opening a second front and drawing Belarus in? Wagner has 25K troops...Belarus only has 55K. "Russian" (Wagner) occupation of Belarus? Who knows. There are some pretty dark possibilities if it was all a sham to set something up. Even if it wasn't, Wagner could cause incredible damage just on their own.

For that matter, why would Putin keep his "peace deal" secret? Why not proclaim it publicly the instant the ink was drying?

I dont know how secret it was or the scheduled reduction in hostilities, the west has been censoring people to control the narrative. Obviously other sources knew peace talks were underway, Turkey and Israel were involved and Boris showed up ~10 days after Russia began retreating from Kiev to nix the deal in person. We were told Russia had suffered a deadly counter attack but the evidence suggests they had a deal and leaving Kiev was a requirement. If Ukraine was winning the west wouldn't have to constantly lie.

Man, we sure are lucky to have Berz going behind Internet lines to get us the secret evidence that "the west" dand "Wall St" used to hide the peace talks and control the narrative!

Aren't we just finding out about this deal?

And leaving Russian heavy equipment was agreed as well?

What 'evidence' is there that Russia withdrew to comply with treaty obligations?

Also why would a treaty require withdrawal from Kiyv but not a stop to bombing of civilian targets, machine gunning of refugee convoys, and other war crimes in general?

In short there was no such deal mutually agreed between Ukraine and Russia, and so far it looks Berz' sources just pulled it out of their collective arses, unless he can provide sufficient evidence that a binding agreement over the Russian retreat from Kyiv has been reached or even just seriously been negotiated for.

In other post-putsch news it looks that Surovikin has either been arrested or not

Senior Russian general Sergey Surovikin has been detained, the Financial Times reported on Thursday, citing knowledgable sources.

Nice little chitchat about the subject, and no, APN desn't find it reasonable that wagner and putin has a devious scheme in action.

With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Maybe it's possible that Russia "offered" Ukraine a deal where Russia got to keep half the country. But, there is no way they offered anything that would have been acceptable to Ukraine.
This "they had a deal" fantasy is just that. Something made up by the Russia lovers and Ukraine haters.
The facts here are simple. Russia is getting their asses handed to them. It's been far longer than a year, and their "quick" military action has failed.
It has cost way too many lives on both sides, including Russian attacking, raping and killing the people that Russia claimed to be helping.
The only person responsible for this war is Putin. But I love how Berz wants to talk about a supposed deep state, Nazi's, the industrial military complex and other BS reasons for the war.
It's really very simple, a land grab by Putin. And it has failed.
