Am I wrong? Were the boycotters in any way exposed to anything they could feel offended about that they wouldn't have to go out of their way to be exposed to?
Will companies only be able to work with people who have never said anything that some fraction of their consumers could feel offended by?
Sad.

That's the thing: It was totally transactional, with Bud simply opening an advertising channel to Dylan Mulvaney's 10 million+ Tik Tok followers in early April. No harm, no foul.
But then the right decided to promote them even more by trying to turn it into culture wars, going viral online, then drawing the kind of global MSM media coverage that Anheiser-Busch was likely hoping for.
But what about the boycott? What about Kid Rock? Is it working? Well, Bud Light sales are down, but it's really just a drop in the bucket, representing less than 1% of Anheuser-Busch Inbev revenue. And the free media exposure has gone through the roof.
In all, Anheuser-Busch is up by nearly 11% over the past six months, meaning the brouhaha and boycott had little impact on the company’s overall success or market cap.
Anheuser-Busch’s counterpart and competitor, Molson Coors Beverage Company, definitely benefited from the boycott. Its price rose from $52.12 on April 3 to $54.27 on April 12 and continued to rise to more than $65, approaching its 52-week high on May 2 before starting to lose ground.
However, Anheuser-Busch could be the better investment over the long haul. Stock analysts say that Anheuser-Busch is currently undervalued and is a good pick for value investors. Anheuser-Busch seems to have the staying power and name recognition of brands like Coca-Cola, Disney and Verizon, at a much lower price point. Investors are labeling Anheuser Busch as a “strong buy.â€â€‹

Okay, I understand the govt needing to get out its message especially during medical emergencies but the same govt just proved itself not only unreliable and malicious in how it behaved during Covid but they will likely continue censoring us even after getting caught. Rumor control

This is a public FDA website new page, not a deep state plot. The actual text from your link:
The growing spread of rumors, misinformation and disinformation about science, medicine, and the FDA, is putting patients and consumers at risk. We’re here to provide the facts.
Don't be misled.
Watch how to identify and help stop the spread of health misinformation.
This is not censorship. It's basically a public health warning to encourage fact-checking. You remember facts, right?

I said they will likely continue censoring us, so it doesn't matter what their website says. They did censor people, they attacked critics and misled the world. They told us vaccinated people wouldn't get or spread Covid and they smeared the unvaccinated who got Covid from the vaccinated because of their lie and censored people telling the truth.
They're calling it 'rumor control', I think its safe to assume they'll do more than post 'facts' on their website to control rumors, they were doing that long before Covid. Social media was told to censor people over Covid policy and they're still censoring people, I dont see why the FDA would reverse policy now by creating a new agency to control rumors without instructing social media about what rumors need controlling.

guess how many 'feds' were there on Jan 6?
More than the handful of 'seditionists'
We dont get to see the video of what happened, either because we'd see feds committing crimes or to protect the identities of undercover people. Or both.
