It's not even relevant, I wasn't referring to Molotov-Ribbentrop, but I seriously expected Serb to know more about his own countrie's history.

Perhaps they omit those parts that don't fit the fairy tale they want to believe.

Not sure I fully agree with Russia only survived because of US and Britain. I think most of us in the West were taught this, but I think it sells short the industrial mobilization that the Soviets were able to pull off. For the most part, they equipped themselves and fielded an army of 7 Million men that had what they needed to fight the harshest battles of the entire war and win. Just as an example, Russia produced 84,000 T-34 tanks. It is propaganda in the West that they only survived because of the West. USSR 1945 was a formidable power for its time.
Please go and research how much lend-lease was sent during '41 alone, and remember that the Nazis managed to siege Leningrad and reach the outskirts of Moscow by that winter.

While it's possible that the Soviet Union wouldn't have capitulated, without lend-lease they wouldn't have managed to build up so much and so fast.

Hell, just the amount of trucks and fuel alone probably made a huge difference.

84,000 seems a bit overstated. I think you've included post-war production, and certainly late war.

Comparison between tanksreceived and produced in the period '41-'43 is the most relevant.

I will fully agree that lend lease made a huge difference, but I don't think it is the reason the USSR was successful. They put in a huge industrial effort and produced enormous amounts of equipment on their own. I was not trying to sell lend lease short, but just pointing out that it is not the West that made the Soviets survive but the Soviets themselves. There is no doubt that lend lease WAS a contributing factor and made the process much, much easier.

Yes, you are correct. I was using Wiki's total production figures. However, I believe this is of note and indicates high production levels during the time frame you outline. I cannot locate specific year by year production:

In 1943, T-34 production had reached an average of 1,300 per month; this was the equivalent of three full-strength Panzer divisions.[44] By the end of 1945, over 57,300 T-34s had been built: 34,780 T-34 tanks in multiple variants with 76.2 mm guns in 1940–44,[citation needed] and another 22,609 of the revised T-34-85 model in 1944–45.[45] The single largest producer was Factory N.183 (UTZ), building 28,952 T-34s and T-34-85s from 1941 to 1945. The second-largest was Krasnoye Sormovo Factory N.112 in Gorky, with 12,604 in the same period.[46]

At the start of the German-Soviet war, T-34s comprised about four percent of the Soviet tank arsenal, but by the end it made up at least 55% of tank production (based on figures from;[47] Zheltov lists even larger numbers[48][page needed]

Following the end of the war, a further 2,701 T-34s were built prior to the end of Soviet production. Under licence, production was restarted in Poland (1951–55) and Czechoslovakia (1951–58), where 1,380 and 3,185 T-34-85s were made, respectively, by 1956.[49] Altogether, as many as 84,070 T-34s are thought to have been built, plus 13,170 self-propelled guns built on T-34 chassis.[3] It was the most-produced tank of the Second World War, and the second most-produced tank of all time, after its successor, the T-54/55 series.

You should migrate to Australia and become an Australian citizen.

Lots of Greek girls in Melbourne. With over 100 million sheep there will plenty of lamb for yiros. There is plenty of wine to fuel drunkithrades on Apolyton.

every country has its hicks. maybe for england it is the north of england. for germany maybe iut is the catholics(?) for french is the belgian, for greeks central greece

austalia is like the planet hick. for earth it is australia

now, having in mind that those that migrated (back when each didn't have 3 Phds) were hicks of the deep, you have double hick population.

it's like there is so much hickness australia will explode and take with it half of china

One of the soldiers who accompanied the Queens coffin was found dead in his barracks ... at he age of just 18

Tragic ... you proudly follow the queens coffin around ... and less then 2 weeks later your dead body is also prepared to lie in a coffin
