  • Hey geniuses, where are the Ukrainian reserves to arrest the rapid disintegration of their lines in the Donbas?

Oh wait, they were squandered in Kursk...!

The Russians are engaged in multiple encircling manoeuvres that probably wouldn't be possible if Ukraine had strong strategic reserves on that front.

As I warned about and predicted.🙄

What did Finland do between the end of WWII and the end of the Soviet Union and why?

      That is your homework, genius.
exactly. They had decades of "neutrality" behind them as precedent and they went out of their way to willfully throw that away and lobby and struggle to join NATO. How do you explain that motivation?

      • Same with Sweden.

Their neutrality prevented them from being absorbed into the Soviet sphere.

          'Finlandization'

Look it up. They were ridiculed for it in the West. What is this toxic masculine need avoid losing face by standing up and fighting an obviously losing fight - instead of walking away and preserving your life...!?

How many people here would stand up to a bully, knowing that if you did you'd be beaten so badly you might even be killed, or just walk away...? We all know the answer. Not me and none of you...🤷

The Soviets wouldn't have allowed Finland to join NATO then, hence why they stayed neutral and maintained their overall independence.

You failed your homework assignment. D-👎

That's also why Czechoslovakia had no problem with being neutral in '68, right? Oh.

                • It is, however, why the Baltics announced they had the intention to join NATO the second the Russians had stepped off their necks, and they worked as hard as possible to do so. And that's the reason they're still independent nations, rather than us talking about them like we do about Chechnya.

Curious thing about Chechnya is that we were perfectly happy for Putin killing Muslims...

We even rewarded him by inviting him for a state visit and he even met the Queen.

                      Funny that...

                        • Any time someone cites an example from history to support their argument just tell them to go read a history book without elaborating.

I sure didn't invite him, and most certainly wasn't perfectly happy, so speak for yourself.

Speaking of which, here is an interesting take on Lithuania's current relationship with Russia, and the history thereof.
