16,000 may be worth it from Putin's point of view adviivka was a highly defendable and commanding location. This will be far more significant than the symbolic "win" at Bakhmut turned out to be.

the think is why would you fight in this war?
it is obvious that it is done from one hand to further the goals of a dictatoriship like putin's and OTOH to further the interests of the west.
why would young men die in this? young men that probbaly share a lot of common hopes and fears. they should instead turn their weapons on their leaders and make putin flee in shame and make however thought ukraine was canofodder for the west leave the country running and crying.
not thzt this has ever happened though.
but who on their right mind would willingly go into that war?
the russians are not dumb. a dictatorship needs to always be in a state of alert to survive. and their country is delegated to the bottom of the civilized war. has degraded to a carricature of a nation
and ukraine is thoroughly destroyed. should not be serving noone but her own interests. both russian and ukranian young men are fleeing as they should in any way they can
let putin fight alone with biden and the degenerate anglosaxon indian crap

With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

it's pretty sad that countries with a legacy of neutrality feel obliged to enter a military alliance
i mean sweden was always a hipocrite, a so called paragorn of enutrality while selling a sh!t load of weapons the world over
also finland choosing to abandon its neutrality, and choosing sides very very firmly.
a new world order one might say
and like there is an axis oa autocrats putin tramp orban erdogan
albeit erdogan is like a puddle. really. not even one air violation for months, is he ok? is turkey ok? I guess having the ability to obliterate it (at least the western half) from the map makes someone behave.
anyway come to the balkans. it's very peaceful

On February 26, Alexey Navalny’s widow, Yulia Navalnaya, said that Vladimir Putin had killed the opposition leader because negotiations for his release in a prisoner swap were nearing completion. According to Navalnaya, this deal would have seen Navalny and “two American citizens” be traded for Russian hitman Vadim Krasikov, who is serving a life sentence in Germany. On Friday, the independent Russian news outlet Agentstvo reported new details about the planned exchange, citing four sources familiar with the negotiations. Here’s what they said.Blah
