ISW is publishing a special edition campaign assessment today, April 9. This report discusses Russia’s religious repressions throughout occupied Ukraine since the start of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Russia continues to weaponize religion in an effort to discredit Ukraine in the international arena and is using information operations about religion to advance military objectives despite itself committing gross violations of religious freedom in occupied Ukraine. Russia may use the upcoming Orthodox Easter holiday on April 16 in an effort to delay Ukrainian counteroffensives by calling for a ceasefire out of respect for the Orthodox religion despite the fact that Russia has shown no such respect for religion in areas its forces occupy. Russian religious persecutions are likely also part of an ongoing Russian cultural genocide and ethnic cleansing campaign aimed at extirpating the idea of an independent Ukrainian nationality or Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Is there a version where Hollande is heard to speak, rather than having the guy speak over him? Hard to see credibility in the video when you aren't presented with what he said, only someone's claimed translation (on what is a 'Russian prankster' sourced video).

Hollande may or not speak Russian, but he could be nodding along to a completely fabricated translation too.

He doesn't mention what would have happened to him if he did try to make peace and I dont know if he's lying about sabotaging Minsk, he might have changed his tune after the CIA and Azov reminded him of the correct lyrics.

So the hit squads sent to kill him when the war started are all fabrications, but we should take your word that the CIA would kill him if he didn't "force" Russia to declare war.

Over Easter, Oryx' list of documented Russian equipment losses in Ukraine has crossed the 10000er mark, while explicit tank losses are just few dozens below 2000 now.

Remember that Oryx is an under count and represents the lower minimum bar as they only count visually confirmed units which were both photographed and geolocated. Absolutely there are more lost, damaged, or captured units which were not photographed or which could not be geolocated. So the real number is probably much higher.

This why Russians are now using T-54/55s at the front.

Russia most certainly has trained, multiple times, and continues to try to kill Zelensky. That was proven long ago by peaked Russian intercepts from the beginning of the war. I am afraid you are drinking Kool aid, Berz.

Not sure how secret it was, certainly not to the USSR or Israel. If you found out the USA allied with Nazis in 2014 for a decade long war then the fact we were allied with Nazis going back deep into the cold war fits a pattern.

My sources say the reason Russia hasn't blown all the bridges leading to Bakhmut is 1) they want Ukraine to try and save the city and 2) Russia will need pathways leading west when Bakhmut does fall. Not sure why Ukraine wont blow those roads and bridges but I suspect 1 is more important than 2... Ukraine may seek a peace deal once it does fall and Russia presses toward the Dnieper river.
