Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko undermined his key ally Vladimir Putin when he said that the men who allegedly opened fire on the Crocus City Hall music venue in Moscow last week, killing at least 139 people, initially attempted to flee to Belarus, not Ukraine—contradicting the Kremlin line.
Going against Moscow's claims, Lukashenko said on Tuesday that suspected assailants from the March 22 concert hall attack originally tried to cross into Belarus—which borders Ukraine and Russia—after they fled the scene. Newsweek emailed the Russian and Ukrainian foreign ministries for comment on Wednesday.

The big quetion is, whether Baikal Electronics has QA procedures to find out (and remove) the defective chips before they get sent out to their customers, or not.
I mean, it would be a rather bad thing (at least for the Ruzzkis) it their guided missiles would not find their way due to defective chips ... or even woud attack friendly units due to them.
Much worse then, if the chips wouldn't get used at all

Samsung plans to regain the Qualcomm and NVIDIA customers by decreasing the trash rate of 4 nm below 25%. Before, Samsung’s contract manufacturing business became a failure because it failed to begin mass production; in turn, things became sluggish to expand the process yield to 10nm. This resulted in the shift of important clients who …

to be fair many major semiconductor manufacturing players have also had high failure rates for their cutting edge stuff at various times. IIRC both TMSC and Samsung had 50% yield rates for their 3 nm chips when they debuted. If Baikal is tackling 5nm or smaller this probably shouldn't alarm them or their investors.

More than half the processors manufactured by Baikal Electronics are defective, multiple sources told the newspaper Vedomosti. The Russian chipmaker has struggled to meet the country’s production needs since foreign manufacturers started canceling Russian orders and refusing to ship ready supplies due to international sanctions over the invasion of Ukraine. Though Russia’s development minister has vowed to establish domestic processor manufacturing by 2028, efforts by Baikal Electronics to master integrated circuit packaging have exposed the industry’s current limits.
Kudos for the anti war effort.

"I hope those who are eligible to serve in the Ukrainian Armed Forces will join. I can't believe it's at 27 years old. You're fighting for your life, so you should serve, not at 25 or 27 years old. We need more people," - Sen Lindsey Graham
I wonder if Lindsey wants to deport Ukrainian teenagers back home
contrary to several witnesses' claims Lindsey's fangs did not appear briefly as he snarled his way through the press conference.
