This ain't gonna fade. Too many interconnects between Ukraine and Russia -- too many families affected, too much betrayal.
Not to mention the massive loss of respect and credibility on the world stage.

Maybe the russian dictatorship ehm government feared that the ukrainians would smuggle in a SAM system and shoot down the Jetfighters at the air shows

The S-300 were originally bought by cyprus.
Turkey got upset and pressuedr their pals the US to put pressure on cyprus.
It was too much and they gave the S-300 to us.
We'd rather stick it to the US ass I'd imagine.
