According to a local military expert (active danish colonel or like) claims that the Ukrainans are doing an unfair fight :

1) they make strongholds in the destroyed civilian areas.
2) they attack high ranking russian command posts which is pretty bad since russian soldiers need to be told what to do.
3) when the russians attack, they just not defend and destroy what is comming, but also make small counterattacks to clean up

They even do it against russian units that has been heavily decimated and don't wait for fresh russian replacements that apparently are on the way from far away sites like siberia.

4) they sometimes take away Russian stuff and use it for themselves
5) they even use live ammo in combat vs. Russian units!

The last few days have made it clear that the war is lost for Russia. The only question now is how long it will take Putin to accept that fact.

The disparity in forces and limited nature of support for Ukraine means Russian military defeat of Ukraine as a functional state remains a possibility. Even if the entire Russian Expeditionary force started to surrender en masse on a major flank Putin would likely up the ante to WMD rather than lose face.

Plenty. From Putin's POV, nothing that has gone wrong apart from slow gains and high casualties is irreversible and he will certainly dismiss these as the inevitable consequences of Russians taking such extraordinary pains to avoid civilian casualties in the face of the Nazis constantly using the civilians as human shields and hostages.

Trump would have researched the Azow folks in Ukraine vs. Wagner, or some other eh ...individuals... active on the pro-Russian side in Donbas and concluded that there are maybe good people on both sides
