What are the oldest games that you regularly play?

    I have posted a brief review of Sparta as I think there is much value in older games that are available cheaply or as abandonware. A lot of game do live up to the hype and I did not like paying full price for new games that were not enjoyable to play. I enjoyed Sparta and it only cost me about US$9

    When I have finished my Sparta jag I might try Call to Power 2 using the link Oerdin provided in a previous post.

    I was recently looking for a new game and was reluctant to spend a lot as many games do not live up to the promises of their marketing people. I decided to buy a 2004 game called Spartan at the suggestion of a member of the Apolyton forum (thanks BeBro) at about A$15. I am thoroughly enjoying this strategy game as it really

      CtP 2 is great

      AFAIK there also is an extensive mod here on Apolyton, made possible thanks to Activision releasing the games Sourcecode ... IIRC called "Ages of man" or something like that

        No...there's the apolyton source code project which is currently maintained on github. Unfortunately it's more or less linux only unless you want to put in a lot of time getting it to compile correctly.
