I live in the Panhandle, which is an appendage of Alabama and thoroughly pro-Trump no matter what he does. I base my confidence on 538 here; what wiggle room is left in their model is based on the possibility of Trump recovery in the remaining time, and Trump has shown no significant ability to recover. He could win, I guess, but this election is about as wrapped up as they could reasonably hope for.

He hasn't denied the veracity of the e-mails because he doesn't want to signal-boost it. If it were absolutely, 100% true, he would still have no reason not to lie and call it false, if it were profitable for him to bother speaking on it at all. Nobody on his campaign is currently under oath.

I agree it probably won’t change anything but it should in a just world. At least the Dems who have been lying and pretending this was all a hoax or somehow Russian intelligence should take a look at themselves, admit they were wrong about everything, and then change their position. This is not news here in Australia because it has not been demonstrated who owns the laptop or whether it is a set up or just more political nonsense.

It seems best to wait until it has been established whether or not it is Bidens laptop and whether or not it is his tuff on the laptop, or stuff put there by hackers.
