Big difference between "survival" and "not infected." I, for one, want to stay healthy, not merely "survive" with compromised lungs. If you accept the dangers of second-hand smoke and are OK with sending smokers away from others, you should equally accept the need to minimize the spread of COVID by wearing masks and social distancing. If you accept one and not the other, you are a hypocrite.

And the pandemic is NOT getting worse. That is a false statement. Daily deaths continue to decline. The transmission rate continues to decline. New cases are declining. You are misinforming with irrelevant statistics.

It's actually normal to downplay something when your opponent is fearmongering. The downplayer is the good person in that case. The fearmonger is, of course, the bad person.
