'The Wilks brothers donated $15 million to the super PAC Keeping the Promise, which backed Cruz’s 2016 presidential campaign. That made them the biggest financial backers of his career in politics, according to the Journal.'

    from yahoo news

Ted Cruz using the treasury to pay back the people bribing him, he got them $35m in pandemic money

Tell that to all the 300k + dead Americans... Oh, but that's right you don't care about them, only your personal freedom, not theirs for life.

Someone asked my friend if she offered him a skittle, but 1/1000 were poison, would he take it. It's a stupid hypothetical that proves that you simply don't understand. That skittle is your freedom and if you don't eat it you're a slave.

While there are a lot of cases in Chicago, the cases/person is actually pretty good compared to the rest of the state.
It's all the morons down state that refuse to wear masks that make the state look bad.
And you are ignoring that most of the top ten worse are Republican states.

Your state could have avoided most of this, but GOP governors would rather endanger their people than be accused damaging the almighty economy.

Where you see "99.9% survival odds," thinking humans see the actual statistic: 1 in every 1,000 Americans has died of COVID-19 in 2020.

Please note: this is not a contest. It is a pandemic.

    2.7 million population...
The whole state of Oklahoma was about 4K with only a total pop of 3.7 million.
    Do the math...

Nice try. 1.9k/day in Chicago. How does that happen if you always follow the rules?

We blame it all on the red counties in Illinois... all the counties where they don't believe in wearing masks...

Check out the Covid stats in Oklahoma. Not too bad. Somehow you all kill more people with those napkins on your face all the time.

You seem to be the one that only believes what fits into your own world view... I see people wearing masks and social distancing more than I see the non maskers and people who don't care about the ones around them. I guess that's because I live in a community where people give a crap.
And you are right, there is no way EVERYONE will do what is RIGHT and those people will continue to not give a damn and put others at risk.
But research shows that the majority of Americans DO support the common sense approach of requiring masks, social distancing, and limiting crowds/dangerous environments.
You are just stating an opinion. Again, your 81% figure was specifically about Christmas, and did not even address masks or social distancing... So all you have is just your opinion.
On the other hand, just about every research study done shows the majority support Masks.
So feel free to keep trying to position your lone opinion as some kind of supposed truth or fact... but it isn't.
And if all the people around you are the type that don't give a damn about others, and run around with no masks and socializing like there is no pandemic... I'm glad I don't live anywhere near you.
    Darwin in action...

It's not BS. Just because you follow the rules doesn't mean others are. If you want to believe everything they tell you then go ahead. But you are never going to get everyone else to. A lot of them will just tell you that they follow all the rules though because they don't want to make you flip out.
