That is why, when playing CIV, you should never worry about having Mongols and Zulus next door.

An angry mob isn't dangerous unless every member is armed with a rifle

Apparently Oerdin's contention is that if you get enough sheeple to hang out in the area without guns, it's OK to invade the US Capitol. You can attack its police (because blue lives matter!), trash its contents, raise a gallows, call for the deaths of Pence and Pelosi, break into offices, steal and damage federal property, and send the US Congress scrambling into hiding in fear for their lives, preventing them from executing their legal duties. Oh, and can smear your feces on the walls while you're at it. Apparently, it's a just a percentage thing.

It seemed like an insurrection from here. The only comparable moment in Australia's history was "The Dismissal" in 1975, whereby a democratically elected government was dismissed by the Governor General, the Queen's representative. There were widespread protests, not armed, but it is considered to be the closest Australia ever came to a civil war.

Thank you for admitting you have no argument. Please go back to marinating your brain in partisan propaganda and drooling on yourself, thanks. I am positive being objective would not be something you excel at.

Jan. 6 in DC was totally an insurrection, Berz. We watched it on live TV. Listened and watched the build-up for a solid month. There was nothing grass-roots about it.

It may not have been well organized. It may have failed to overturn the election. But it was definitely an insurrection.
An "insurrection" with no guns or firearms in which 99% plus of the participants were entirely peaceful? The other 1% or less simply amounted to a riot. We all know that is true but it seems some of us are so hyper partisan they choose to lie. That lying says more about them than anyone else.

Many ranges offer to store weapons for a fee.

The problem with group's like Antifa (which is a self declared communist revolutionary group) is they literally instruct their followers to lie and pretend everyone who is not them is some how a "Nazi". It is a deliberate tactic.

The urge to shoot Nazis is not going to lead anywhere good - but one certainly understands.

I recall being in a rage, which has not ebbed much. Nazis got nothin' but nerve to speak up just six months later.

Consider this the place to post news stories that have nothing do with global pandemics, politics, racial tensions, and all those other depressing stories out there...
