the article made that distinction, is that simple enough?

What about Fred Flintstone's car? It looks quite tree like?

In the same way that, for example, a car and a tree are different shapes, even though they're both three-dimensional. I don't really know how to put it simpler than this.

Are you saying the article you cite but didn't cite was wrong?

That's what you understood from it.

A misfolded protein is also three-dimensional. It's just a different shape. Proteins are made of hundreds to thousands of molecules, it is impossible for them to be two-dimensional.

    All proteins are 3 dimensional.

Parkinson's disease starts in the gut and migrates to the brain. Proteins are typically 3 dimensional but misfolded proteins are not and they can "convince" neighboring proteins to mimic them. Eventually after decades of the gut biome building up these misfolded proteins they migrate to the lower brain stem and then the upper and its game over, game over man

They're still not sure what triggers the misfolding of proteins in the stomach and intestines but I suspect diet is a big factor.

Probably the case that Trump dislikes the most, as it lays bare that he is not as wealthy as he claims
