My polling place is also only 2 blocks from my apartment. No lines during the day.
Although I often work at libraries so I have been near early voting stations often.

538 just moved Ds chances from 6/7 House and 1/7 Senate to 7/8 House and 1/5 Senate. There have been other reports about polls breaking for Ds.
218D/217R is really really bad based on the polls. It is basically more than a systematic error.

Guvs aint got much control over that, its the legislatures that design the districts and Dems have been getting trounced in state govt, but 2020 will be important anyway if the Dems can gain ground at the local level. I think state referendum/ballot initiatives will make better headway toward reducing gerrymandering.

That is why Ds don't quite get there on a popular vote of D + 6 but do get there on a popular vote of D + 7. The current prediction is for more of a popular vote of D + 9.

Currently the house is 193 Dem and all the polls predict +36 which comes to 229 D. Senate 49 D to 51 R. Govs races... I predict dems pick up seven.
