    And well, if there was no crime, there was no reason for the Trump campaign members to lie to the FBI (which, after all, is in itself a serious crime) regarding the meetings with russians and other foreign officials

      Funny, because that is what rather fits the conservatives.

      Just look at #metoo
      If a liberal is accused by women regarding #metoo is, to either assume responsibility, or be pressued by fellow liberals to do so and take consequences (like recusing from his post).
      If a conservative is accused regarding #metoo, the usual response is to stick out the tongue against the accusers, say "prove it" and then initiate a smear campaign aimed at the accusers. Best example, Roy Moore, which still was endorsed by Trump after more and more women and other people came out who confirmed the stories about him.

      Likewise it is the conservatuves who pardon convicted criminals for pure political reasons, even if they are not remorseful (eample, Joe Arpaio) and then praise these convicted criminals as beacons in uppholding the law (as Pence did with regards to Arpaio)

        Joe Arpiao deserved to be pardoned because he was convicted by the Left for political reasons. Flynn will also be pardoned if necessary which will be great. You people aren't going to get away with your crap. You are going to pay.

        Btw, your good buddy Comey lied under oath to Congress. He is most definitely covering really bad crimes. We will see what happens.

          You Trumpist conservatives (including Arpaio) seem to share the opinion that you only need to obey laws / court orders, if they fit your conservative agenda and that you can totally ignore them if they don't.
          Sorry that I have to be the bringer of bad news, but that`s not how government works ... in the real world (i.e. not the alternative reality in Trumps mind) liberals have to obey laws/court orders that were issued/made by conservatives ... likewise conservative have to obey laws/court orders that were issued/made by liberals

              Didn't say that Trump did something unlawful by pardoning Arpaio.
              But it gives deep insights into Trumpian conservative thinking that the Trumpian government pardons an unrepentant convicted criminal and then praises said criminal as "champion of the law"

                          He was convicted by the U.S. Marshals for repeatedly violating a direct court order to cease and desist with an unlawful behavior. Seriously, educate yourself before you flap your giant mouth.
