Not clear if he will or not, if he's fired, then the replacement will have to be appointed by the Senate. Plus if Mueller gets fired, you are going to have one hell of a political sh!tshow. Should be fun to watch.

I doubt that Rosenstein will resign.
He already withstood other attempts of Trump to get him out.
If Trump wants to get rid of Rosenstein, he most likely will have to fire him himself
