Politico has a nice article about the 2 sides of Kavanaugh during his school time.

On the one side the choir boy, which he lately tries to appear as (and which Trumpists and people like Kid believe him to be), who was a virgin during his whole school and university time, on the other side the Frat Boy, who frequently was drunk and constantly partying.

Funny enough it is Kavanaugh himself who serves as the best witness for the frequently drunk partying college frat boy ... by the entries in his college yearbook, as well as the anecdotes from his college time, he repeatedly mentioned in his speeches (at a time when it wasn't yet foreseeable that he would become candidate for supreme court one time)

Both the Governor and Lt. governor announced their outright opposition to Kavanaugh, perhaps more tied to his policy positions on the environment. No doubt the plethora of sexual assault victims coming forward will only strengthen their opposition.
