The day is here. I'm in South Carolina, where the weather forecast is not quite as nice as I would want it to be after a 500 mile, 11 hour drive. I'm hoping it stays as clear as it is right now.
I've got a bunch of eclipse glasses, index cards for pinhole projectors, and my astronomical binoculars with solar filter film affixed in front of the lenses (in a very makeshift fashion). And sunblock and a hat.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

It was very heavy overcast in Winnipeg during the eclipse. I was at an outdoor TV film shoot. We had about a 30 second window of 70% coverage. I saw a total eclipse in '79 through welders' mask, so this was nice too.There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.Comment
