    The Russian role in the election is being investigated by a number of groups, including the Senate Intelligence Committee. It is far likelier that Trump and his cronies are lying than that Rice is lying, and far likelier that a Trump associate will go to jail than that Rice will go to jail.

    Trump's team talked with the Russians, then the Russians interfered with the US election, then Trump and his associates lied about it, then they got caught. That makes Trump the suspect. Likely, he will be shielded by one of his cronies taking the bullet for him, but chances are pretty much zero that he didn't know the Russians were breaking the law to help him (he openly called for them to do it). The only question is whether he is a Russian agent, a Russian dupe, or just a pro-Russian useful idiot. Hopefully, the SIC will sort that out.

                      He seems to have completely forgotten that Trump gave the highest possible security clearance to a man who has recently been forced to register as an agent of a foreign power. We don't know that all of the Trumpeters are foreign agents, but we do know that 100% of the Trumpeters about whom we know anything for sure are, indeed, foreign agents. Kid has no problem with this because he prefers Russian-controlled "Republicans" to any non-"Republican" form of actual American.
