  • I mean I know he plays dirty tricks. He did so in the primaries. I was a nevertrump until he won, because that was amazing victory. We need someone like that who has faith in himself and will win no matter what. And he does love this country. The dems hate this country (almost all if them.). Some repubs do too.

That said, I'm a little worried that the Swamp is not only not getting drained, but it is winning. That actually makes me realize that Trump is our only hope. Cruz would have already lost.

I guessin this case you should also be applauding Erdogan.
After all he used dirty tricks in his referendum (and before) ... and he won an amazing victory

He seems to be a little bit too full of himself, because in the first 100 days (that he set himself as landmark for completing most of his plans) he didn't accomplish anything worth mentioning (exept maybe he nomination of a single judge ... and this only because the republicans changed the rules of the game ... something that may haunt them in the future, when the next position for a federal judge needs to be filled ).
So, aside from winning the election, he didn't win anything else so far

Erdogan has a major advantage over you. You think that the problem is that he is power hungry. Actually the problem is that he is a jihadist. There are many jihadists in Germany too. You don't understand jihad I think.

It's not what Trump hasn't accomplished. It's what the Swamp has not been able to accomplish. Have you seen the recent illegal immigration numbers?

        • I guess we now know why Flynn was fishing for amnesty.

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump‘s former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, appeared to break U.S. law when he failed to seek permission or inform the government about accepting tens of thousands of dollars from Russian organizations after a trip there in 2015, leaders of a House committee investigating possible Russian ties with the Trump campaign said Tuesday.
They congressmen also raised new questions about Flynn’s consulting firm accepting $530,000 from a company tied to Turkey’s government.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Erdogan also has a big disadvantage ... his economy is on the ground, his countrys bonds are rated as junk by credit rating agencies and turkeys most important source of income, tourism, will have a hard time in 2017 (even harder than 2016, when tourism rates alread were dropping) thanks to Erdogan constantly insulting the european countries (from whih the majority of tourists in turkey come).
Now that the referendum is over, Erdogan already is begging for economic aid from germany.

Hope he will get the cold shoulder (and also that the flow money he gets from the EU for preparing turkey to become a member of the EU gets stopped)

According to business insider the "swamp" is synonymous with wahsngtons bureaucracy:
            http://www.businessinsider.de/what-d...6-11?r=US&IR=T

And in europe "swamp" usually is synonymous with corruption and nepotism.

Both interpretations have nothing to do with illegal immigration.
Actually, when we take the european traditional interpretation, the swamp has increased with Trump taking power (especially due to the nepotism he brought into the white house (actually, Trumps nepotism reminds me a lot of Rodrigo Borgia and his family (when Rodrigo was pope in rome))

If you thought I might argue that his economy will do well no I won't. I don't see what that has to do with Trump. Although I will say that economy is overrated. I hold sovereignty higher than economy. I'm sure that rural Islamic fundamentalists feel similar.

The Swamp favors immigration of potential voters who will believe their propaganda and who are easy to manipulate. They want voters who won't vote for populists like Trump.

It just had to do anything with Trump because you said you initially didn't like Trump with his dirty tricks ... but your feelings for Trump changed when he actually won.

Erdogan is much like Trump ... he is a populist, plays dirty tricks (and everyone with at least half a brain knows it), but nevertheless won the referendum which can be an important first step to turrning turkey into an islamist dictatorship (although one has to admit that he probably wouldnn't have won without the massive election manipulations and frauds that obviously took place)

So, considering that Trump and Erdogan are so similar, I assumed you would like Erdogan as well

                  HUH?
The swamp cares about buying influence in Washington... They care about politicians and paying them on behalf of their clients... The swamp cares about giving money to politicians who will do their bidding... They don't care which party is in office... they don't care about the voters. They care only for their clients.

Erdogan's populism is actually Islamic fundamentalism which is very much like globalism. His main goal is to get into the EU (so he can take over). That's totally non-Trump.

And how do you think those politicians stay in office? Stupid voters.

It costs big bucks these days to run or stay in office.

You are incorrect here .. and that is the dangerous thing about Erdogan. Erdogan actually plays both sides.
He has convinced moderate muslims, that he is no islamic fundamentalist(despite him getting inarcerated in 1998 for reciting an islamist poem),
which makes him an electable choice for many moderate muslims (as they don't fear that he will turn turkey into an islamist reublic).
At the sametime he has convinced most islamists, tha e still is on their side.

With just the support of islamist fundamentalists he wouldn't have this popularity he has (and would have remained a "harmless" figurehead at a smaller fundamentalist party)

I for my part assume that there is only one side Erdogan is on ... and that is Erdogans side.
His goal ist to restore some kind of osmanic empire, with himself as Calliph with unlimited power.
For this he will (ab)use both sides, that of the moderates as well as that and will also readily drop one side if it isn't useful for him anymore (best example is Gülen, who actually was an ally of Erdogan not long ago ... but then he (Gülen) became too popular/dangerous and therefore Erdogan made him a scapegoat of the coup attempt (an attempt that btw. very likely may have been fabricted by Erdoogan himself)
