Strawman method of accounting, as I didn't say anything about Medicare for all. (I think citizenship should be tied to working. I just don't think we should turn away anyone willing to work.)

Again, none of those teachings are socialist teachings. None of them teach that it's ok to use force to take people's wealth. Jesus had the authority to take the wealth of the merchants because he's the Son of God. You aren't. When you take things from people that you didn't work for it's stealing, a sin. Jesus says something about paying your taxes.
He never said that taxes shouldn't be used in order to pay for welfare.
And he also never said that taxes should be lowered so much (for the benefit of the rich) that thze state cannot afford adequate welfare
(and therefore, lower taxes for the rich will be bought with more poor people dying due to the lack of welfare)
