Not entitled, just mutually beneficial, and if they don't the US and UK should use vetos in international institutions like the IMF and World Bank to punish the EU, to make sure they are charged a large price premium on all sovereign and private debt on international capital markets (which are all controlled by the US and UK), and definitely stop guaranteeing their security and make them pay those trillions themselves.

In short, you return hostility with hostility and you return friendship with friendship. It is the EU's choice to make and we are just giving them an offer they cannot refuse. /The Godfather

The EU might not want free trade with countries that opt out of their environmental and labor regulations, and I don't see how this is America's problem.

Greece has had high unemployment rates for years, on par with the US during the Great Depression. That clearly throttles their ability to collect tax revenue. Does Oerdin seriously think unemployed people are just lazy and choosing not to get jobs?

No it didn't have high unemployment for years. That was spain

                        It had a cozy 8%.
It was after the crisis that it ballooned to 23% (which is close to the great depression)
