The commandment says to "love your neighbor." So you love her?

I can agree with that ... religion is defined by the people.
Which is why we have open christians that tolerate people for being different (different religion, different sexual orientation) but also christian fundamentalists that would love to have homosexuals brainwashed (until they play along with only daring to have homosexual relationships) ... and also spread distrust/aversion of other religions.
Similar for muslims, where we have open people, but also fundamentalists and terrorists
(and even true for a peaceful religion like Buddhism, where you also had terrorism thanks to Aum Shinrikyu)

As usual, that has nothing to do with the fact that both religions have tons of deaths and suffering on their hands. That they have in common.

If the Bible says so, yeah. Treating people as you would want to be treated is loving them.

Actually it does, because only Christians believe in loving their enemy.

But it didn't stop them from killing them, and causing tons of suffering around the world now did it. So they have that in common, and you can't deny the reality of it.

Kill them all and let God sort it out?

Instead Jesus was murdered by Romans and Jews. Glad we got that timeline instead!

We're talking about the religion, not the adherents. You're holding Christians to the standard of perfection which is a logical fallacy.

I'm criticizing their religion just as I criticise Tom Cruz for believing in Scientology, but you haven't accused me of hating Tom Cruz.

But, the christian religion also builds upon a fundament of cruelty and atrocities.
You just have to read the old testament ... Jesus never distanced himself from the atrocities commited and ordered by god in the old testament.

And many christians use and used exactly these connections with the old testament, to justify their own atrocities.

Fundamentalist islam doesn't actually do anything different, as many, if not most, of the rules of Shariah have roots in the old testament

When have you ever criticized Tom Cruise for his belief in Scientology?

And yes, if you started half as many threads about Scientology as you do about Islam then I'd accuse you of hating Scientologists.
