It seldoms rains in central Australia so no need to worry about that. It is cold at night there but a blanket fixes that. there is thus no "weather" to worry about. No need for a tent.
Camping is one of the most civilized things possible. It's when a person gets to the point that they are so civilized they get sick of it, and need to get away from all that civilization for a bit.

I am quoting this poast so kentonio can read it twice.
If I had to go camping, I'd definitely want a solar powered tent
LOL

I spent most of my childhood holidays camping. I then spent a time in my youth walking groups of kids up a mountain to camp out at the top each week. I know camping, I've done lots of camping, camping can suck it.
Use our free online solar panel output calculator to see how much electricity you could produce each year with a solar panel system.
If you need specific information, there are charts available which document the amount of hours worth of sunlight per day in the year. From these you may work out your expected output from the solar panels on your home. This can be done with the following equation:
Take the number of square meters of solar panel on your property and times this by 1000; then times the resultant figure by the efficiency rating and times this final figure by the number of sun hours in your area in a day, according to the chart. This will give you your Watt hours per day.
For example: 2 square meter panel x 1000 = 2000 x 0.20 (20% efficiency panel) = 400. 400 x 5 hours of sun hours = 2000 Watt-hours per day.
Yeah, Camping is ok, but solar powered tents are just crazy. For one you're not going to get a great profile, unless you build a tent in the open and if you know anything about camping you don't pitch a ****ing tent where it's open.
