You are forgeting third party votes. She only had about 200,000 more than Trump and about 4.5% of the vote went to tgird parties (including my vote). So, no, factually speaking Hillary did not get a majority of the vote.

The problem with this argument is that (a) we're not in the middle of a national emergency, (b) what FDR did was terrible, even if that was a national emergency, and (c) yes, I'm aware that FDR was a Democrat.

The sex thing actually bothers me much less than the rest of it, and I've said so. Jefferson was a rapist, and still a fine president. I was referring to, well, everything else. Trump appears to have no virtues at all. Like, I'm hard-pressed to think of anything morally admirable about him whatever. Hillary, sure: she works hard, it's possible to believe there's something she honestly cares about other than herself, she has self-control and resilience, she appears to think things through to a much greater extent than Trump does, and she at least cares enough about honesty to bother with making the lies even superficially believable. This is not high praise--she's a politician--but she does not give the appearance of being a failed human being in absolutely every respect. FWIW.
