Doubling down on identity politics will mean a loss of electorate as millenials grow older and finally think about starting a family. It's now finally possible to be gay and not care about other gays, as Thiel and Milo Y showed us, the Dems were too successful. Black people will continue to vote D in the nearest future. Trans people do not matter. "Hardhats" have already voted for Trump, and if both parties forget about them in the next cycle again, it's not a given that they will return to the Dems.

Well if we approach the anthropological issue of the US elections, if trump goes ahead and deports then its constituant will increase. So there is no reason at all why he wouldn't do it.

As far as foreign policy is concerned we have the first correct hit aka trump says that if US went against Russia in Syria there would have been a US-Russian war. So he won't do it.

Economics is funny. There really is no way to know what the economy will do in the next 4 years. The economy did very well in Nazi Germany for example.
