You're doubling down on stupid now. You said "distribution doesn't matter". We would change the distribution only ... and so your hesitation to give me all your money proves you're a liar

As for use of the money, once it was in my position I could distribute it any way I wanted with perfect certainty it was going where I wanted. If left in your hands it would probably go to some nefarious purpose like funding a food stamp fraud ring.

Whether I hold the money or whether someone else does doesn't change the area under the curve one bit.

However, if you make more than me - then me giving you money would increase, rather than decrease inequality.

I'm not sure why you insisted I do that rather than give my money away to people.

Interesting. Your argument is an argument for inequality, not against it because you are arguing you can manage other people's money better than they can.

I can manage your money better than you can, yes. Since all the info we have suggests you use your money to participate in tax evasion and food stamp fraud.

My argument though is to point out that you think distribution matters. It has nothing to do with inequality.

No wonder you support redistribution so long as you can direct where it goes.

You support redistribution for the rich. All the money goes to the rich and the poor are left out to die in factories.

                **** you.

This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

Venezuela suggests that it's the you who supports all the money going to the rich and leaving the poor to die after all the factories close.

Tax evasion and food stamp fraud should generate money, for the fraudster.

If the tax evasion and food stamp fraud are costing the fraudster money that really would be a poor use of money.

I'm not really sure why Aeson's settled on 'tax evasion' as his club of choice. Deferring income is entirely legal. Does it lower my tax rate? Absolutely. Does it mean that I have to wait to enjoy the benefit of the money I've already earned? Sure. But that's how it works.

As for the food stamps, pretty sure Aeson's supported their distribution. Apparently defrauding the government to get your own food stamps is ok.

You're just proving you were lying, you care about distribution of wealth.

There are laws governing deferment of income. How to go about it, and how much you can defer. From what you've said, it was rather clear you hadn't had legal consultation on the matter ... so you likely are breaking the law. Which wouldn't surprise anyone, since we all know you broke the law with food stamp fraud.

How so? I'm not the one calling for poorer people giving their money to richer people because richer people can manage poorer people's money better.

Absolutely. It's not my job to do that, that's the job of my boss and the people upstairs who provide this. I did consult with them and we set this all up in lieu of salary provided now. The worse thing that could happen is that I'd be paying on my partial income for all the years I've worked, distributed over the years in which the income was earned and then paying my tax bill on that plus interest. And even then, I'd still have a fair amount deferred, and would have to go from there.

You care about distribution of wealth, as demonstrated by your unwillingness to give all your money away to prove you don't care about distribution.
