Just thankful for social media picking up on this so he could be freed from the stupidity and offered so many opportunities. I just hope that they were all genuine and turn into something good for him.

The Texas cops? Yes, let's hope it's not a 'general thought pattern'...

Anyway, great news has come out of it all, as FlameFlash said.

ID:	9101868Actually, I cannot fault the teacher for being suspicious of this student's clock in a briefcase. The beeping noise inside the briefcase is what first caught her attention. I honestly would have done the same. Always better to be safe than sorry. This is the police photo of the clock and that is why the school is backing the teacher's decision to notify authorities. Honor roll student or not, no one wants to be responsible for ignoring warning signs.

Yes it is. Terrorism is happening on a regular basis. What's wrong with the school and police protecting our children. He was only questioned. It's the schools right and responsibility to do that. Good grief, people are all going insane.

it does kinda look like it could pass for a bomb... if you saw it only a second or two that's what a lot of people would think I bet.

Ummm, no. There is nothing in that picture that remotely looks explosive. No detonators, no block of clay (like C4), no tubes of stuff (like dynamite or pipe bomb), no container of powder (black or white), no container of gel or liquid of any kind.
