I don't need to read studies on sweeping generalizations to call one when I see one. If you really think that you have evidence that Americans are uniquely suffering high rates of emergency service workers' deaths, and that some "hero complex" is responsible, then feel free to make that argument, supported by evidence. So far it looks like you are pulling this out of your ass in order to make a dumbass sweeping generalization that doesn't apply to the country I live in.
The dogmas of the quiet past, are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty…we will be remembered in spite of ourselves… The fiery trial through which we pass, will light us down, in honor or dishonor, to the last generation… We shall nobly save, or meanly lose, the last best hope of earth.

Fortunately I couldn't give a rats ass what you think, and have absolutely no inclination to go do your research for you.

I don't need any research. I just pointed out an absurd sweeping generalization, with a quote from you to provide my evidence. No research needed; people can see it with their own eyes, and now can see that you were pulling the first part of your statement out of your ass.

So I don't need to do research, and you can't. If you'd had evidence to support your assertion to begin with, there would be no need on your part for research. Instead, you presented "facts" before you had done research, and got caught with your pants around your ankles because people here aren't as stupid as you seem to think they are.

A simple google search would reveal it to anyone who cared. You prefering to believe your own foolish preconceptions rather than actually educate yourself is neither my problem nor of any particular interest to me. Neither is trying to precisely quantify your level of stupidity.

Funny you should mention a simple google search, this is what I found when looking for witness testimony regarding your accounting of the train staff's actions: France train shooting: Famous actor claims staff locked passengers out of car when gunman opened fire

One thing missing from the popular narrative of cowardly french, is that there are reports that the first person to try and thwart the gunman was a Frenchman, who got injured and failed in his attempt.

I'm pretty sure that Hollywood will get rid of that fact when they make the movie
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

"Google" has billions of pages (maybe trillions by this point) and so there is no "simple search" that cannot be done without a subject to search for. So far, there isn't one - you won't even say what your "evidence" supposedly is, and a simple search of "kentonio is pulling facts out of his ass" gives me 6,060,000 hits, so your shorts remain trapped around your ankles.

That's funny, considering Dauphin apparently had no problems finding it, and in fact already linked to it above.
