Apparently this summer they will update the OS on the model S to allow fully automated highway driving. Add to that the 250+ mile range, the (as always) unbelievable performance and presence of supercharger stations along both coasts and the thing begins to look a little less like a gimmicky in-town car and a lot more like the vehicle of choice for long haul travel...

Finding someone with the skills to reprogram a car is likely much harder to find than someone willing to die for a cause, in terrorist circles. There's basically an endless supply of the latter.
