If a cop tells me to get out of the middle of the road, i get out of the middle of the road. But when I was young (growing up in the vanilla villages) cops treated us with respect and actually protected us so we learned to respect them.
That's not the case in other places. If they don't treat ALL people with respect, they're not going to get it back.

If that's really the case then he should have been coming with lights and sirens going... which would have inspired anybody with sense to get out of the way. Nowhere have I read that was the case.
