Let's tell the whole story shall we? They threw out a brutal dictator who the United States had installed over their democratically elected prime minister. A dictator who ruled over them for 26 years using savage oppression and torture to keep the population in line while furthering the aims of the west.

Christ, I don't even know where to begin with this...

The man is an outright scumbag, so it stands to reason that Reg Collider loves the ground he walks on.

This thread is a microcosm of everything that is wrong in the world today: All of the US' and Israel's enemies have been manufactured by their own hand! Yes, let's actually make people hate us by treating them in the very manner that we're scared they'll treat us - offence is the best form of defence after all...!

Bibi got his way with Iraq and look what happened there.

Reg Collider should look at this before calling for even more US citizens to be put into harm's way: http://www.nationalgeographic.com/healing-soldiers/

True casualties of Afghanistan and Iraq: At least 230,000 (of which 6,845 killed) and counting!

And for what? Worse than nothing, because the US has destabilised an entire region and created newer, stronger, enemies: exhibit A - Russia.

      Yay!
"Aha, you must have supported the Iraq war and wear underpants made out of firearms, just like every other American!" Loinburger

So much wrong here. Turkey is not Arab. Neither is Iran. And a "democracy" ruled by the ayatollahs' will is not secular, not even close. And besides, Italy is a much more secular Arab state.

          Iran is both.

The interesting ripple in this is in USA. There will be inquiries about improper use of official funds to promote Herzog.

By the way, I am generally supportive of Israel (I support Jerusalem being the undivided capital and think that generally Palestinians should have to compromise more).

However, Bibi seems equivalent to the Palestinian leadership. So this result really makes me pessimistic about any solution in the ME.

I wrote Arab, I was thinking Muslim. My mistake.

(BTW, I know that I have implicit biases against Muslims, on the online test I was told that they were strong (I thought they were not strong). But I do try to account for the biases in my positions.)

I think that there are some mistakes (especially about time ordering and right/left ordering), but in general it is very interesting.

                    I recommend it.

The Religion one? Or the Arab-Muslim one?

The Arab-Muslim one is the one I took.

Tried the race one. Really disturbing watching your own automatic reflexes reveal implicit bias.

I tried the religion one... was interesting. Christianity and Islam were tied for more positive (A bit under 3/4th of the way up the line). Judaism was in the middle (slightly below halfway). Hinduism was more negative (less than 1/4th of the way up the line). But the results are relative.

I first heard about the test (race) in a sermon after Ferguson.

(In a very white, conservative church. It made me feel a lot better about attending (I like the pastor and the sermon was from him), although some of the membership are very conservative and promote things which I find objectionable. Of course, that doesn't stop them from being very friendly (The other reason we attend).)
(It is in suburb of Chicago.)

Your data suggest a slight automatic preference for African American compared to European American.
