I just got married in October to a wonderful woman I met on OKCupid. Keep at it, folks!
My strategy (may not work for everyone) is that I put up an overly honest, very lengthy, and detailed profile. I decided I was tired of getting into relationships with girls whose basic values and life priorities were very much off from me. We might be attracted to each other and have chemistry, but if those big picture things were off then it would ultimately be a dead end anyhow.
