Yeah...I liked the "Everyone in Russia knows..." Everyone in the rest of the world knows different. Amazing to watch the power of dictatorial controlled media at work in Russia, isn't it?"I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration." - Hillary Clinton, 2003

I also like how westerner's Nazi worldview shows in westerner's "the rest of the world" phrase. Even if opinion of China, BRICS or other independent countries is different from the opinion of the West, and/or if you can't possibly know their opinion about the subject, you still say "the rest of the world" anyway. Other people on a planet don't exist for you? Or maybe you don't count them as people?Last edited by Ellestar; May 14, 2015, 17:27.Knowledge is Power

NATO is taking new actions to beef up its ability to respond to hybrid warfare such as Russia has been using against the Ukraine.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

it probably would be, if a bunch of Russians hadn't taken a third of the country, and set fire to another third of the country.I wasn't born with enough middle fingers.

Yep, and indeed hybrid war is a Western idea. Thankfully, it's hard to delete the truth from internet, so there is no way to claim that it's actually Russians who invented a new inhumane thing.
Over the past two years, the hybrid threat construct has found some traction. It appears in official government reports and has been cited by the defense secretary in articles and speeches. In addi…

Not sure who you believe has spoken out as being for Russia's illegal activities in Ukraine, but I would love to see direct quotes from foreign government officials that say they support illegal activities by Russia in the Ukraine."I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. Wow, four links. Two by private companies selling defense consulting businesses, one about NATO saying they need to beef up their cyber war defenses, and the other a Canadian publication attempting to explain what the phrase means.
Do you even read your links before you spam link diarrhea? What's the matter? Does your boss at the troll farm not giving you enough time to read them? I understand the spam quotas can be quite high at those troll farms so it must be hard work for such a tiny pay check.Last edited by Dinner; May 14, 2015, 18:19.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

So dictatorships are stronger at brute-forcing, and "democracies" are more experienced in indirect methods of control.

Originally posted by PLATO View PostI don't recall saying that. Maybe you guys should get out of it and see what happens then. Would not that be a better comparison?
Also, you should leave Ukraine before us. Actually, you shouldn't have even come there in the first place, you have no business there. And we were their biggest trading partners. If you just didn't do that coup, everything would have been fine.
Originally posted by PLATO View PostI think pretty much everybody is calling for respect for international law...which the Russians apparently have none in their paranoid pursuit of "security". Even China spoke out against Crimea when it happened. Of course, you guys tried to buy them off with a monster cheap gas deal. Meh...the Chinese are pragmatic...
USA of all countries talking about international law? Hahahahahahaha
I mean, seriously, USA? International law? A list of your unlawful invasions will be too big to fit a page. Well, check wikipedia, it has an article with a HUGE list just specifically for that. And it doesn't even count special operations, it doesn't even list all coups you made in our countries.
And China spoken against Crimea because they have their own territories that want independence, so they said against it so not to make precedent. But they were against Kosovo too IIRC, not like the West listened to them of course....

I said "Everyone in Russia knows that under Poroshenko regime Ukraine suffered tenfold compared to Yanukovych times, yet i don't see any coups. Corruption is still there, look at IMF reports or something."
You responded with "Everyone in the rest of the world knows different."
So, you claim that the rest of the world (other than Russia) thinks that under Poroshenko regime Ukraine doesn't live any worse than under Yanukovych. Given that their economy, international trade, currency, security is much worse, and there is a civil war is going on, it's hard to believe that anyone other than a brainwashed citizens of the West will actually believe that.Knowledge is Power
