The hard reality is Greece was already $20 billion short and the drooling idiot in charge has announced he will spend an additional $20 billion so that leave him $40 billion sort and default certain if he doesn't blackmail the rest of Europe our of $40 billion.
The hard truth is international finance doesn't care who wins elections, they still expect to get paid on time and in full, if that doesn't happen then things get ugly. When the Greeks default, I say when and not if because 4he actions of the new government make default a certainity, then they are out of the Euro.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

The absolute best they can hope for is that the EU agrees to extend their existing loans, which are already lost money, in exchange for Greece willingly leaving the Euro. Other wise they will get forced out and it will get far uglier.Last edited by Dinner; January 30, 2015, 13:34.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

But it sounded like you were trying to assign some sort of collective responsibility toward the Greek people.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

They haven't enacted the reforms they actually need to dig themselves out, which is adopt a truly market economy.

Are they really democratic though? I'm not familiar with how they're organized. The US, for instance, is a representative republic and the UK is a parliamentary system. Sure there are aspects of democracy in both systems, but some have more of a voice than others in both systems.I'm not conceited, conceit is a fault and I have no faults...
