The corruption is from the regulatory agencies, you moron. Getting rid of them gets rid of the source of the corruption. The regulations they enforce are not useful, and evading them is the only way to profitably do business, requiring bribery. If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

They are capable of the same perverted acts. With government, you have (some) accountability. Private sector? None... unless it is internal. Which, btw, prompts the biggest LOL I can muster, mister. Maybe you should examine the revolving door between the private and public sector. I understand why you might not be aware of such a thing since your political studies probably stopped at a 100 level gen ed course as a freshmanTo us, it is the BEAST.

well... yeah
I have a wide range of experience in politics. I went to school for this. I'd received previous management training and experience. Outside of Guy's wife, I'm perhaps the most successful (unofficial) entrepreneur here. With my skill set, I'm qualified to work at a VP level. However, I lack the requisite experience to be considered for such positions. My mom is high up at one of the largest clinical laboratory companies in the world. I have decades worth of time spent with her discussing these topics with her. I help HER write HER resume. She might be a CEO some day. I socialize with VP's, CFO's, the mayor of the city of chicago.
I have a mental illness. It holds me back.
If weed ever become legal recreationally (or a more permissive medical program is started) in Illinois. I will make a substantial amount of money very quickly.
I mean, you can listen to me or dismiss me. I don't care. I'm not the one who is losing out.To us, it is the BEAST.

Sounds like you and I are actually in the same boat in that regard. The training is there but nowhere wants to touch me with a 10 foot cattle prod... I sit on a little Masters in Public Administration and can't land anything in that field because I have no experience.I'm not conceited, conceit is a fault and I have no faults...
Civ and WoW are my crack... just one... more... turn...

I've considered a "shotgun approach" of sorts... randomly emailing a hilariously direct resume to recruiters... or perhaps direct to certain companies even. Reach the right person? Who knows? I've got enough people who'd certainly offer a glowing recommendation
Most likely, I'd need to do some serious networking beforehand, I suspect. It helps to know people.
regardless of what happens, i'm probably going to always be limited by my issues
At the very least, I've been able to enjoy myself.
I don't know if you guys realize... but this **** has been fucking me up since i was around 5
it is a miracle i am not deadTo us, it is the BEAST.

There are tons and tons of these state sanctioned legally granted monopolies (the state owned metals mining company owns several legal monopolies to mine, refine, or produce several types of metals and it is illegal for any company to compete with them, same with the state railway, the State port system, etc...). The corruption and red tape is legendary with everyone wanting a government a government job where they basically just drink coffee and read the newspaper all day then get a full pension and retire at age 55. You can't fire someone so companies never hire anyone unless there is absolutely no way to avoid it. It takes 2 years to get a telephone line installed and a year to open a bank account for a new business.
They have been promising to change this stuff for the better part of a decade but they still haven't done a single thing. They won't either because they know if they just sit there saying no long enough then the Germans will just give them more money anyway.

While I agree the whole Greeks are lazy thing is silly, the hours worked figures are rather misleading. They're just total working hours divided by total employees, without taking part-time work in consideration. Part-time employment is far more prevalent in Germany than in Greece.DISCLAIMER: the author of the above written texts does not warrant or assume any legal liability or responsibility for any offence and insult; disrespect, arrogance and related forms of demeaning behaviour; discrimination based on race, gender, age, income class, body mass, living area, political voting-record, football fan-ship and musical preference; insensitivity towards material, emotional or spiritual distress; and attempted emotional or financial black-mailing, skirt-chasing or death-threats perceived by the reader of the said written texts.

From HC's ridiculously stupid article:
My answer was that you’re less likely to seek a bribe if you can make an honest profit instead: Capitalism is the only real cure for corruption.
Yep, because it was capitalism that ended the mafia in the US.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
- John 13:34-35 (NRSV)
