The methodology article is actually semi-interesting. Apparently, there was some sort of "gratitude challenge" in the late summer and early fall. Turns out the participants were roughly 90% female.

Ahhh, IL. Or as we call it "Ill and Annoyed." I just moved out of IL and I got to tell you, being to places like Colorado, Michigan and Louisiana were like completely different countries and much better times in my life. IL is among one of the most racist states in the US, and dont buy the BS, they are passive aggressive with intense "glass ceilings" in effect. I saw people try to side-swipe student drives and vans with hebrew stickers on the back. And Heaven help people with rainbow stickers. Im not sure whats wrong with IL, but....IDK. Just alot of angry embittered people there with very strong prejudices against religions, race and sexuality. So to answer your question, are they shameless liars? Liars...I dont know. Some are, some aren't. But I think some of them grow up around so much hatred and bitterness that they automatically thing mean things, and to say those mean things would immediately equate a consequence. So to not get into some bull with someone else, they just lie or say nothing. Youre not going to walk up to a complete stranger and tell them you think theyre a piece of **** because of their hat. You might get punched. So...lie about it. As far as shameless? Hah, oh yeah. Alot of intense vanity there. INTENSE vanity.
