I think they're gonna indict him, based on the tape of the gunshots Wilson took 1-2 seconds before firing the last volley that killed Brown. Assuming that gap was when Brown was stopping and turned, I dont see how he could have "charged" Wilson.

Forensics don't support this interpretation. He charged and was finally stopped with the last shot. Cop shot away from center of mass, btw, so we wouldn't expect him to be stopped by the first shot. Three forearm shots, a shoulder shot and finally the headshot and that was that.
