I don't get why they call it taking a dump. You aren't taking it. You are leaving it.

Yeah, heaven forbid, someone tries to appease a deity.

Electric cars are actually superior to gas vehicles in many ways. They get hella torque, they have simpler engineering, you don't have to pay for gas, etc.

(not going to pay attention to BK's response or anything, just throwing that out there)

                    Poutine.

                    Soggy fries are nasty.

Also: I googled Fried Chicken and Waffles.

                    WTF?

So where did Jesus say that you must drive an electric car? Still waiting for that gospel. Oh wait - that's the gospel of the mother Earth goddess.

Are you really this dumb? Really? Energy is energy, or do electric cars run on magic pixie dust?

Electric cars have ****ty range, don't work well in hot or cold weather. Gasoline is an amazing fuel. It's extremely energy dense and works well. Why should we stop using something that was basically designed to make transport work well?

I didn't read either of BK's posts, but here's a question for the rest of you: what happens when the timing belt gives out on an electric car?

Deep fried doner kebab. Wrong on just so many levels.

In other news, athletes at the Commonwealth Games are wolfing down 'traditional' Scottish stodge :

A popular snack is a fried “tattie scone” on a buttered roll. A tattie scone is a griddle cake made with mashed potato, butter and flour. But it can also be chucked in the fryer, naturally.

For a hot tattie roll with the works, add with bacon, runny egg and black pudding.

The other favourite local dish is haggis. The Scots love it so much they’ve even created a Haggis and Cracked Pepper flavoured potato chip.

Haggis is a savoury pudding containing sheep’s heart, liver and lungs, minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, and mixed with stock, then cooked in a sheep’s stomach for around three hours. It apparently tastes better than it sounds — sort of like spicy sausage roll filling.
Vive la liberte. Noor Inayat Khan, Dachau.

...patriotism is not enough. I must have no hatred or bitterness towards anyone. Edith Cavell, 1915
