I wonder how fast people pushing for cap and trade would complain about a mandatory tithe to the Catholic church.

So whichever way the Republicans go about preventing us from having cap and trade is fine by me.
So you're saying the ends justify the stupidity? Surely you, as a rational and intelligent person in the STEM field, should be concerned that policymakers/legislators are basing their decision on bad facts (referencing science denial, not the climate thing).

You're assuming, once again, that there's actual evidence for the global warming myth. We've had 15 years without an increase in global temperatures.

We get plenty of science denial from both sides. This is politics we're talking about. I've given up hope of Congress ever understanding anything they legislate on, and so I'll settle for them selecting the correct thing even if they have no idea or are doing so for the wrong reasons. Obviously in a perfect world I'd prefer they actually knew what they were doing, but please. Let's be realistic.

            Kentucky....

Even in East Tennessee we consider folks from Kentucky to be really backward. Nuff said.

Why did you arbitrarily pick 15 years ago as your standard for assessing whether the Earth is getting warmer?

It's not something I'd call ideal, but I prefer it to overburdening us with new environmental regulations that won't do anything.

Please highlight several examples of science denial from the Democratic side please. I'm not saying they don't exist, but I'm curious to hear what they are.

These type of absurd claims are pretty much par for the course with climate change deniers.

The HUGE difference is the left laughs at these idiots and locks them out of policy making decisions while the right is 100% owned and controlled by their anti-science idiots.

You're making a false equivalency statement for the reasons I've already covered.

You'll note one of the Congressmen with "D" next to their name is listed as fighting for labeling (which HuffPo is not in any way laughing at - rather is pushing anti-GMO).
